To answer this question, we are happy to inform that, Canadian citizens are eligible for Vietnam e-visa! In the first stage of this plan, this kind of visa is available for just 80 nationals including Canada.
In fact, how many ways are there to get Vietnam visa for Canadian citizens at the moment?
At the moment, there are up to 3 ways to obtain a visa for Vietnam, consisting of:
- Applying the visa at Vietnam embassy or consulate in Canada;
- Applying the Vietnam visa on arrival (it is beneficial for those who stay more than 1 month with multiple entries or who travel Vietnam for business purposes or someone need visa for Vietnam in emergency cases);
- Applying e-visa (it is good for less than 30 days of stay with single entry). To some countries which are in Vietnam visa exemption list, they can stay in Vietnam 30 days without a visa so they don’t need to apply e-visa. However, Canada is not in this list so Canadian citizens can apply Vietnam e-visa for 30 days of stay in this country.
